The first BLFI Members Event of 2012 is an open-forum for members to present recent research, projects, experiments, problems, thoughts etc involving lime to an audience of their peers.

The BLFI had a very active first half of year with several events taking place around the country. Thank you to those who attended and in particular to the hard working events committee, led by Katriona Byrne, for producing, once again..........
West Dean and Scottish Lime Centre Discounts

The BLFI have negotiated special discounts exclusively for its Members attending courses run by The Scottish Lime Centre and Master Classes at West Dean. The value of the discounts are significant and should be of considerable assistance to those who would wish to participate in the various and recognised courses run by both Trusts.

The February 2011 Newsletter is available now for download online..The severe cold of last winter brought with it hardship for working with lime and there were many failures (as there was also with cement). This winter has already proven to be worse and it is not yet over, although many of us have taken adequate precautions. The following, however, may be helpful....
